About DJ Rob N

Brought into dance music when he first visited the Monastery Nightclub, Torquay in 1998, Rob N became fascinated in the way the DJ worked the crowd, how they mixed their records and the way the crowd would react. Inspired then by Brandon Block, BK, Tidyboys, Lisa Pin Up, Lisa Lashes and Steve Thomas, he knew that DJing was the path he wanted to take.
Rob N finally got his first pair of decks in September 2002 and spent a lot of time watching and listening to the DJ’s in the clubs in order to learn how to mix, whilst practicing what he’d seen and heard from the big named DJs and adapting and changing to his own unique style.

Having a major passion for dance music, Rob N is an exciting DJ with a very unique style, not pigeon holing himself to one ‘sound’, you are likely to hear a wide range of styles within each genre umbrella during his gigs, this keeps the energy flowing and the crowd on their toes wanting more!

Rob N has gained a lot of interest from numerous promoters & DJs, including Neil Carpenter (Venue, Torquay and Arena, Exeter resident DJ), who has had Rob N joining him behind the decks occasionally in two of the leading commercial nightclubs in Devon, in front of audiences of nearly 2000!

2005 seen a very good year for Rob N, his mixes gaining airtime with the leading UK hard dance online radio station www.hhuk.net and gathering a lot of interest from promoters around the UK.
Rated “A breath of fresh air”, “Exeter’s Finest” and one of his mixes “A Hard Trance and Hard Dance Masterpiece!” by www.djbendy.net, and landing him gigs with a whole host of leading nightclubs and parties.
It wasn’t long before Pleasure Radio asked Rob N to resident a weekly show, which then led on to the interest of Brighton’s very own Passion Radio who asked Rob N to host his own weekly weekend show along side Adam H, Hed Kandi, Graham Gold and Matt Darey!
